I invented my friend to youth group and then he told me was atheist?

Ok, so yesterday i invited my friend to come to youth group at my church. The youth group is like any other youth group. We play games, go on mission trips, bible studies, and just have a lot of fun. So i invited my friend. He said this Ya i'll come even though i'm an atheist. Do you think i should still bring him to the group? Or not? He's my best friend but idk if youth group would be best for him to go to with me? Should i invinte to something else instead?
