Is Bill Maher right to suggest...?

I think Bill Maher has a point. How much does the president really do? He has an army of advisers pouring over the data and doing the analysis. Usually, the president's decisions come down to whose opinions he trusts the most. Anymore, a presidential candidate is just a mascot, a public face for the political machine he or she represents. America can and will elect any schmuck smart enough or lucky enough to capitalize on their 15 minutes of fame.
