Taking a leave of absence from Target, what do I do?

I've only worked there a few weeks, but in 5 weeks I have to leave town for 10 days for mission work. At first, I only thought I had to quit before leaving,but I want my job when I come back. I saw on the website that they allow personal leaves of absence, but I don't even know if I am eligible since I'm so new. Has anyone else successfully obtained a personal leave of absence from Target or some other company? If so,how did you go about it?
